About Mohr Library: Location and Directions

Location

The Library is located at 1 Memorial Avenue, just off Atwood Ave. (Route 5), and a half mile north of Hartford Ave. (Route 6A).

Directions From I-295

Take the Hartford, CT exit off Route 295. If you are on I-295 North, look for exit 6C; on I-295 South, look for exit 6B. At the end of the exit ramp take a left. You'll be on Route 6A East, Hartford Ave. Go about a half mile and just past the 7-11 turn left at Memorial Avenue. You'll go past the Johnston War Memorial Park. Proceed all the way to the first stop sign at the top of the hill. Take a right into the Library parking lot.

Directions From Providence

If you are heading West on Route 6, look for the RI-5 N exit onto Route 5, Atwood Avenue in Johnston. Head North about a mile, past the Johnston Police Station on your right, and take a left at Memorial Ave. Take the next left into the Library parking lot.
