Programs

Mohr Library provides opportunities for people in various age groups to attend live presentations, participate in discussions, and learn. We also have outreach programs in preschools, schools, and assisted care facilities. If there is something else you'd like to see, please let us know.

Library programs are free and open to the public. Attendance for some programs is on a first come basis, and for others we ask that you register.

Library presentations depend on outside support, especially from the Friends of the Mohr Public Library, a 501(c)3 nonprofit group, the Andrew Greene Foundation, our local legislators for legislative grants, and the Rhode Island Office of Library and Information Services (OLIS). Of course, there would be no facility and no staff to arrange and coordinate programs without the Town of Johnston.
