4:30 -- 5:30 Coffee and cider; chat with fellow genealogical sleuths, ask questions about your ancestors that have been puzzling you. If you would like to bring a treasure from one of your relatives to share with others, that would be fun.
5:45 - 6 Local Historian and Author Robert Geake will speak on local and New England lore. Author Robert Geake has been writing about Rhode Island history for over thirty years. He has published human-interest stories on local historical events in local newspapers, New England Magazine and Yankee Magazine, among others. Books include "A History of the Narragansett Tribe of Rhode Island," “Historic Taverns of Rhode Island," "A History of the Providence River," "Historic Farms of Rhode Island", "The New England Mariner Tradition" and "Colonial New England Curiosities."
